Made for S4C’s community shorts season, the films will subsequently screen on S4C in the following months after the festival.

Rich with compelling imagery, this visual poem both challenges and celebrates modern Welsh cultural life. As dusk descends young people congregate in front of the Chapel as they would have a century ago, but today, this chapel building is a pub.

In the middle of winter, when the weather rages against the far flung shoreline at Whitesands beach, Pembrokeshire, a steady trickle of people are still drawn to the sea. This film looks at the relationship between the landscape, the sea and the people who have chosen to make this place their home, as five people share their connection to this unique part of Wales.
